You might have heard of dry needling from a friend and now you’re wondering what does it do? I know it’s a weird name and it can even sound a little intimidating – NEEDLING. But it’s a safe and effective minimally invasive procedure that can help to reduce and even eliminate pain. Most high level athletes are using some kind of dry needling for both recovery and prevention and it’s finally starting to filter down where regular people are using it too!
So if you’re a runner, biker, weight lifter, weekend warrior or just someone who hurts and wants a solution that doesn’t involve pain pills, cortisone injections or surgery – then dry needling might be a good alternative to try out.
Just remember, it’s not magic and usually takes a few treatments to start making a difference.
