Being proactive vs reactive with pain.

As we age we’re going to get aches and pains. Those little nags are warnings. Warnings that if ignored turn from small strains to big events that blow up. These problems compound and become so big that it resets our baseline level of fitness, performance, and activity.

I’ve heard so many stories of a little backache that turned into not being able to walk to the mailbox or up their stairs. I’m confident those small problems can be easily addressed.

The good news is you have the power to be proactive.

Being Reactive

We are conditioned to wait until a problem is so bad that it needs a heroic intervention like surgery. Trust me, surgery is rarely the answer. Especially for the pain that creeps up over time.

Doing Nothing

Just a week of being bed ridden causes significant muscle atrophy. Muscle loss can take months or years to recover from. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

Don’t ignore the little nags, aches, and pains. They are signs that your body needs a little love.

Be proactive. Get dry needling & trigger point acupuncture for your aches & nags. Watch them go away.

If you’re active then you need to be more diligent with your self care.

Proactive Solutions

My favorite tool to be proactive is dry needling. I happen to be an expert in dry needling & the most experienced dry needling practioner in Tampa (& all of Florida). After performing 30,000+ dry needling procedures, I just haven’t found a better tool for your normal aches and pains.
