What is Chinese Medicine?

Chinese Medicine is the original functional medicine. It’s a combination of root cause diagnosis & tools like acupuncture + herbal medicine to help your body function better.

It has been continuously practiced and improved upon for over 3000 years. The best doctors across millennia have written down their case studies so people like me can learn and improve how we help people.

Chinese medicine is one of the most effective collection of tools for chronic health concerns like: pain, fertility, anxiety, digestive issues, sleep issues and more.

How does Chinese Medicine work?

The goal when you come in to see me at Hanson Complete Wellness in Tampa, FL is to figure out the root cause of your health concerns and correct it.

The basic idea is to figure out what’s going on with you, and then use some time tested tools like acupuncture and Chinese herbs to help your body function better. When things are working like they’re supposed to and your body is in balance, you feel better.

To do that I use Chinese medical diagnosis, which was developed over thousands of years. The various functions of your body get broken down to a web of patterns. My job is to pick out the signs and symptoms that show what’s not functioning right inside you. Then we can develop a plan that’s unique to you that helps your body to function better.

Why is it so effective?

When you have thousands of years to perfect both the diagnosis and treatment modalities like Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal medicine

What is it good for?

Quite frankly, a better question is what isn’t it good for. At my clinic I’m know for treating pain and fertility but I honestly treat and help just about everything. That ranges from men, women and senior citizens. Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine can really help most chronic health concerns and conditions, ranging from anxiety, digestive issues, autoimmune conditions, to allergies, pain, fertility, women’s health issues like PMS, PCOS, endometriosis and more. The list could seriously go on for pages.

I have patients who come in regularly and just enjoy how they feel after a treatment. Most people get nice and relaxed and feel refreshed after a 20-30 minute acu-nap.
